This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP
Supplies
Tubes of choice, I have used the gorgeous work of Keith Garvey, do not use his artwork without a license, you can purchase his tubes here My PSP Tubes
Scrapkit of choice, I used a fabulous paid kit by Kristi from The Scrappin Divaz Designz called 'It's a Girl Thing', you can purchase her kit Here
Fonts I have used are 2peas Champagne and Sweetheart Script - Limited
These are both paid fonts so I'm sorry but I cannot share
Mask used is by Weescotlass, No 119, you can get this mask and many others in the downloads section from Here
Filters used - Eyecandy 4000, Gradient Glow
Lets Begin
Open a new image 550x550, flood fill white
Open a paper from your kit, if you have used the same kit I have you will need to resize the paper to 550x550 pixels, copy and paste as a new layer
If you have downloaded the mask from WSL, you can either save it to your mask folder and use the following settings -
Layers, load mask layer, load mask from disk, invert unchecked and hit ok
or you can open it in PSP and apply it by going to your layers menu, select new mask layer, then select - from image,
and click on the mask from the dropdown menu, invert unchecked
Layers, merge group, I then resized by 110%
Open the double frame from your kit, resize this to 550x550 pixels as before, copy and paste as a new layer
Now duplicate this frame layer
On the bottom frame layer, with your magic wand, select all the parts of the right side of the frame
Selections, expand by 10, copy and paste your paper of choice, selections, invert, delete
Repeat the selection again with your magic wand, and expand by 10 again, copy and paste your tube of choice
Selections, invert, delete, add a dropshadow of choice to your tube
On the top layer of the frame, erase the parts that are covering over the tube,
I used my freehand selection tool and hit delete, but you can also use and eraser brush
Now select the left hand side of the frame, same expand settings as before, and copy and paste your second tube
Invert, delete, and again add the same dropshadow you used before
'X' out your mask and white background, merge visible, layers, view all
Add your doodle of choice, layer duplicate, image, mirror, image, flip
Now 'X' out all your layers except your doodles and merge visible
Sharpen the doodles if you need to
Highlight your doodles layer and duplicate to 3 layers, on the first layer, select Layers, add/remove noise, add noise and apply these settings
Repeat these settings on each doodle layer, making sure to click on 'Gaussian' each time to randomize the noise
Add your main tube and place to your liking, add a dropshadow of choice
Add your text, colours I used were foreground nil, background #375b7f, words used were 'Pretty as a Picture'
I then gave a gradient glow of 3, 25, 100 colour #e5abcc, and then repeated the application of the dropshadow
Now add your copyright, watermark and name
'X' out your background, mask layer, and doodles layer and merge visible
Now 'X' out your top layer and doodles layer and merge the mask and white background
Your layers should now look like this
Now to animate
'X' out your 2nd and 3rd doodle layer and copy merged into anishop
then 'X' out your 1st and 3rd layer, copy merged into anishop, then lastly, 'X' out your 1st and 2nd doodle layer and copy merged into anishop
Play your animation to make sure you are happy with it, then save as a .gif and your done
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial
