This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP

Supplies Needed

PSPX2 (any version should work)

4 Tubes of choice, I used the awesome work of Joel Adams, you can purchase his work here CILM

Font of choice, I used Donna Bodoni Ce script and Espresso

Stock photo of choice, the one I used is available from stock.xchng Here

Plugins needed - Eyecandy 5, Nature, Ripples Eyecandy 4000, Gradient Glow

I am unsure of where I got the mask from, if it is yours please contact me and I will either credit you or take it down

Supplies Here

Let's Begin

Have all your supplies and tubes open in PSP

Open a new image 600 x 550 ( you can crop to your liking later) flood fill white

Add a new raster layer, floodfill this a colour of choice, I used 8ecb1f, apply mask, invert unchecked, merge group

Copy and paste the stock photo as a new layer, resize to your liking

Select your rectangle shape tool, line width 15, f/g black b/g nil and draw out a rectangle to frame the photo

Copy and paste your tubes, resize and arrange to your liking, add dropshadows of choice to each

When your happy with their placement, 'X' out all layers except your tubes, merge visible

Layers, view, view all, then 'X' out your tube layer and frame

With your freehand selection tool, use these settings

Image

Duplicate your stock photo to a total of 4 layers

Select the water in the pond (not your waterfall yet, we will do that later)

Go to Effects, Alienskin Eyecandy 5, Ripples, and apply these settings

ImageImage

Apply these settings to each layer, making sure to hit random seed for each layer before clicking ok

Selections, select none

Now for the waterfall, select around your waterfall with your freehand selection tool, same settings as before

Go to Adjust, Add/remove noise, and use these settings

Image

apply to each layer as before, this time making sure to click on Uniform to randomize the noise, selections, select none

Now to add your phrase, I used 'Oh how wonderful it would be, seeing the fairies frolic and play, weaving their magical spells on their way'

Convert to raster layer when happy with the placement, go to effects, Eyecandy 4000, gradient glow, and use these settings

Glow Width 3, Soft Corners 25, Opacity 100, colour of choice, I used white

Dropshadow 0,0,100,5 colour - #ac1665

Add your Copyright and Watermark

Now add your name, I gave mine an inner bevel with these settings

Image

and used the same gradient glow as above, but applied it twice, then gave a dropshadow with the same settings as above also

Clean up your layers pallete so that it is easier to work with before we animate

Merge the following layers - frame, tubes, phrase around frame, and your name

Now merge your mask layer, copyright, and blank white background

Your layers pallette should now look like this

Image

Now we animate

'X' our your top 3 stockphoto layers, copy merged and paste into animation shop

repeat for each stockphoto layer, making sure to 'X' out the layer you have just copied over

In animation Shop, select Edit, Select all. Animation, Frame Properties, and set to your liking, I used 20

Save as a .gif and your done!

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial
